Leaked BlackBerry Orlando adds a touchscreen to the Curve form factor

RIM is currently prepping two new non-touchscreen additions to its Curve line this year, codenamed the Apollo (GSM) and Sedona (CDMA). On top of that, the company is said to be working on a full touchscreen Curve, appropriately dubbed the Curve Touch.

Now, to confuse matters even further, BlackBerry enthusiast blog N4BB reveals an image of what it purports to be the BlackBerry Orlando — which is apparently just like the Apollo and Sedona, but with the addition of a touchscreen. No further details are available, which makes an unveiling of the Orlando in Orlando next month unlikely. Don’t fret though, BlackBerry fans, as we’re sure RIM will have a few other smartphones to show off at BlackBerry World.

BlackBerry Sedona gets more face time; Flashes curves and backside

The BlackBerry Curve Sedona has come out for a few more photo snaps. This time we get to see more of its curves and a shot of its backside. Also shown is Verizon Wireless branding, with splash screen at boot up and the classic VZW theme. As rumored, the Sedona is the CDMA version of this next-gen BlackBerry Curve. Hit the break for more images.

The BlackBerry Curve Sedona will have a TrackPad that lights up, just like on the Style 9670. The backside of the Cure Sedona looks pretty sleek. The battery door is plastic, although it has a nice glossy finish.

All in all, the BlackBerry Curve Sedona is shaping up nicely for the next-gen CDMA Curve. Coupled with OS 6.1 Lite, this device should be an excellent entry level BlackBerry. It’s apparent it should hit Big Red, but will it also make its way to Sprint? What do you think of the Sedona so far?

The device will have a quad-band GSM antenna, Wi-Fi b/g/n, 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, and — judging by the instructions in the user manual — ship with BlackBerry OS 5. The device looks extremely similar to the BlackBerry 9700, aside from that sensual 8900 keyboard. Thoughts?

BlackBerry Curve 9330 launching in two colors on Verizon Wireless this month

If you haven’t kept up on your rumors, Verizon Wireless is set to launch the recently announced BlackBerry Curve 9330 relatively soon. It might just be the lighting, but that Fuschia looks awfully fierce to our eyes. With that said, anyone up for some low cost BlackBerry 9330 action on “the nation’s largest and most reliable network” when it launches on September 16th? Couple more photos after the break!
